During this experience, students have the opportunity to learn important research skills necessary in academic research careers. At the end of the period, students share their research findings in a poster session presentation. In addition to hands-on research, students participate in seminars, workshops, and off-campus visits that provide them with a deeper understanding of the research process and prepare them for graduate study at the University of Maryland.
