Description: 

Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURFs) are offered to promote access to talented undergraduate students, especially among underrepresented minorities. These fellowships provide research projects supervised by Boston University faculty in engineering, math, computer science, and in the biological, physical, and social sciences.
   

Benefits: 

$5,250 stipend, $750 allowance for research supplies,
up to $500 potential travel subsidy, housing in a Boston University apartment (double room), travel & lodging during the weekend of the October Undergraduate Research Symposium
